Get Ireland Walking – National Walking Day<\/p>\n\n\n\n

National Walking Day takes place annually in September as part of European Week of Sport, and is organised by Get Ireland Walking. National Walking Day aims to celebrate the efforts of community walking volunteers and to promote the activity of walking at a local level in communities across Ireland<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get Ireland Walking proudly presents the 5th National Walking Day on September 29th, as part of the European Week of Sport. This flagship event is supported by a week of themed days, beginning on September 23rd, to encourage everyone to get moving. Themes include Mindful Walking, Equality and Inclusivity, Access for All, Active Travel, Workplace Walking, and Happy Hiking, each offering unique opportunities to participate. The campaign will feature engaging content across social media, aiming to inspire individuals and organisations to embrace walking as a life-enhancing activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
