Organ Donation Awareness Week

Organ Donation Awareness Week highlights the life-saving impact of organ donation and encourages people across Ireland to make their wishes known. Led nationally by organisations such as the Irish Kidney Association and supported by the Health Service Executive, the campaign aims to increase awareness and spark conversations among families about organ donation decisions.
In the workplace, this week provides an opportunity to share accurate information and encourage staff to carry an organ donor card or register their wishes. Even a simple conversation can make a profound difference, helping to ensure that more lives are saved and transformed through transplantation.
