Haemochromatosis Awareness Week

Date for the diary! World Haemochromatosis Awareness Week will take place from 1-7th June 2026. This is a very important week for patient associations and organisations all over the world. It is an opportunity for our haemochromatosis community to come together and help raise awareness of haemochromatosis, advocate for patient care and treatment and support patients and their families.
We are looking for your help. If you can organise an information stand, or do an interview on local radio, we would love to hear from you! If you have new media contacts or if you know of entertainment or sports personalities who can endorse our campaign, let us know. Every year, we continue to promote early diagnosis of haemochromatosis and raise awareness of Ireland’s most common genetic disorder.
