World Stroke Day on October 29th 2025 comes just weeks after the 4th UN High-Level Meeting on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) on September 25th — a pivotal moment that will shape the global agenda for NCDs, including stroke, for years to come. Keeping stroke at the forefront of these discussions is the focus of the WSO-convened Global Stroke Action Coalition and its Every Minute Counts advocacy campaign.
The timing presents an unmissable opportunity to amplify our message. This year, World Stroke Day will enhance the Every Minute Counts campaign with public-facing messaging focused on helping people everywhere recognize the signs of stroke and the urgent need to #ActFAST. It’s also a chance to mobilize a broader audience to demand government action on the policy recommendations outlined in #StrokeActionNow.
