Brain awareness week

16–22 March marks Brain Awareness Week, a global campaign dedicated to increasing public awareness of brain health and the importance of neuroscience research.

The week highlights how our brain health affects many aspects of everyday life, including memory, learning, mental wellbeing, and resilience. It also provides an opportunity to share information on how lifestyle choices — such as regular physical activity, quality sleep, good nutrition, and managing stress — can support long-term brain health.

Workplaces can take part by sharing resources on cognitive wellbeing, encouraging healthy work practices such as regular breaks and movement, and promoting conversations about mental health and wellbeing.
