Malnutrition Awareness Week

Malnutrition Awareness Week (MAW) in 2026 takes place across several localized and international campaigns, most notably from September 14–18 for the U.S. event and November 9–13 for the ESPEN (European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism) global event.
Irish initiatives heavily coordinate with both ESPEN events and local health calendars. You can check for updates on localized events via the Irish Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (IrSPEN) which partners on these campaigns
