Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Each year in Ireland, almost 3,400 women and approximately 30 men are diagnosed with breast cancer.  It is more common in women over 50, but it can affect younger women too.

Breast screening helps find cancer at an early stage. If it’s found early, it’s easier to treat and there’s a better chance of recovery.

The workplace is an ideal setting to promote awareness of breast cancer and steps we can take to help prevent it.
