Healthy Workplace Networking Seminar: Wednsday 17th May, Department of Health, Meisian Plaza, Baggot St, Dublin 2. Registration/refreshments: 9:30am, Event 10am-1pm

Healthy Ireland in the Department of Health will hold a Healthy Workplace Network Seminar on Wednesday 17th May in the Department of Health, Miesian Plaza, Dublin

The event will begin with the launch of the new Healthy Ireland Healthy Workplace Website by the Minister for Public Health, Wellbeing and National Drugs Strategy. The Healthy Workplace website will provide information and resources to support workplaces to implement health and wellbeing initiatives in their organisations.

The event will also show case good practice and will feature case studies from some of the recent winners of workplace wellbeing awards.

In addition, Dr Jane Bourke, UCC, will present her findings from a recent study on Mental Health and Well-being in Irish Firms and Dr Noel Richardson will present an overview of the CAIRDE project which is a workplace suicide prevention programme to reduce suicide stigma, improve suicide literacy and enhance intention to seek/offer help among construction workers in Ireland.

There will also be an opportunity for networking with key stakeholders.

The event will begin at 10am (registration and refreshments from 0930).
